16. November 2016

Since the establishment of the company in 1985, Noria has focused product development in Sandefjord, Norway. The company is now pleased to announce that it has opened a development center in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) in Vietnam to meet increasing demand from existing and new customers, and to accelerate product development roadmap.

“Scaling up our operations by opening a branch in Vietnam is an important milestone for Noria. It ensures we can enhance product development and while we also have the resources to meet demand from our existing and new customers”, says Ronny Reppe, Noria CEO, who will be overseeing the start-up phase of the Vietnam office in person. “Noria is known for uncompromised focus on customer needs, and therefore it is essential that all our employees across our three locations can familiarise themselves with the company culture,” he continues.

The first offering to benefit from the competence in Noria HCMC center is PARIS web portals. The portals allow Noria customers to enjoy enhanced mobility and efficiency of work processes. Dedicated portals for self service, claims, brokers, a management dashboard and tailored PARIS portal solutions represent the next generation of insurance IT solutions. The responsibility for the development of PARIS core system will remain with the development team in Sandeford.

The Noria office in Vietnam is expected to employ 10 developers by early 2017. In addition to this, the company has 18 employees in its two locations in Norway. The Noria team serves customers globally.

20. September 2016

Taking place November 8-9 2016 at the Luxembourg Congres, Luxembourg, the European Captive Forum brings together Europe’s prime captive insurance and risk management professionals for two days of world-class networking and industry insights.

Noria has contributed to the event in the role of a Gold Sponsor, and will also exhibit at the congress, showcasing state-of-the art solutions that enable captives to efficiently manage their portfolios.

“Noria is not just a technology vendor, but a part of the larger European captive community. Therefore it’s natural for us to be part of the discussions that define and shape the industry, such as Solvency II, and our team will be on-site to demonstrate solutions that enable captives to efficiently manage their portfolios and meet regulatory requirements”, says Ronny Reppe, Noria CEO.

Noria’s offering to captives is the pre-built core system PARIS, a modular solution for end-to-end policy management, including Solvency II compliant reporting. Deployable on-premise or in the cloud, PARIS offers a range of user friendly web portals for claims handling, management dashboard and more.

“As our recently published white paper concludes, many captives still face challenges with Solvency II reporting as they have traditionally relied on simple systems for policy management, even spreadsheets. PARIS is an advanced solution that provides full policy lifecycle management and Solvency II reporting in one system at a price point that makes it possible for even small captives to deploy a core system.”

Meet the Noria team at European Captive Forum stand 206. You can schedule a meeting or a private demonstration with a representative by sending us an email: ronny.reppe@noria.no.

Noria has launched the latest version of its core software offering, PARIS (Policy Administration and Reinsurance Software), offering P&C insurers with a range of transaction portals and enhanced possibilities for digital business.

The web portals extend the existing capabilities of the PARIS policy management system to the web and mobile platforms, allowing for increased flexibility and mobility, and more efficient workflow.

  • Sales portal for internal and external agents and brokers allows for a significantly more streamlined and efficient workflow and better interaction with stakeholders.
  • Full functionality claims portal is easily accessible on any devices.
  • Self-service for end customers and external partners allows carriers to enhance customer service by offering a 24/7 access to key information regarding policies, claims and more.
  • Dashboard for management and reporting purposes allows for real-time business insights for better control of KPIs and to support business decisions.

Another key enhancement in PARIS 4 is the web services API, which enables all business logic through web services. This allows P&C insurers to take advantage of new digital business opportunities, enhance customer service and streamline their IT portfolio by integrating core insurance system directly with their website, CRM and many other applications and platforms.

“PARIS 4 truly is a next generation insurance solution; it equips P&C insurers with tools for digital business processes”, says Ronny Reppe, Noria CEO.

The next generation PARIS software is enabled by a fully restructured core business logic, which ensures that the hallmark robustness of PARIS is also extended to the new version.

Staying true to Noria’s dedication to customer-driven developed, the web portals and the functionalities were designed in close collaboration with our customers.

Also after PARIS 4, Noria continues to invest heavily in product development.

“Digital channels will drive further development of PARIS. We will also introduce test automation and more efficient deployment tools to lower the already highly competitive acquisition cost of our solution.”
