Noria is hosting a superuser forum for PARIS, our core insurance system, on 4-5th September 2023.

What is PARIS?

PARIS is a pre-built system for captives, brokers, marine and energy insurers, featuring integrated business modules with rich, robust and mature functionality. Users can leverage end-to-end policy lifecycle management, data reporting and web portals in one, modern platform.

PARIS boasts over 30 years’ delivery track record in the Marine and Energy sectors, where we enable proactive and comprehensive risk management, Solvency II reporting compliance, data integration and on-premise and cloud installation.

Who will be at the User Forum?

Noria’s highly-experienced senior system engineer, Jan Meyer, will be one of the key speakers at the superuser forum, where he will explain the latest system updates for PARIS.

“40+ attendees will be superusers from mature industries such as marine insurers, marine brokers, captives, or any insurers handling specialist risk types – that’s our strength”, Jan says. “PARIS specialises in complex insurance such as shipping, where we facilitate the splitting of risk between different insurance companies.”

With a rich and consistent history, PARIS’s oldest client has been with us since 1981. Since then, the platform has developed a track record of continuous improvement through working closely with our clients.

What will be discussed at the superuser forum?

We will be sharing information about what’s new in PARIS, talking through each new release in detail, discussing common challenges and solutions between industries.

“There will be information on the latest improvements; web and interface changes, along with technical updates, integration details, user templates, tax reporting (SAF-T compliance), claims, documents, accounting information, and more”, says Jan.

What do you think makes PARIS special?

“PARIS is like a community”, says Jan. “Our superusers will learn a great deal at the forum, but we have found in the past that it is often the breaks between the sessions that are the most valuable. That is when people get the chance to meet others in their sector, catch up with peers, network, and get together to talk, learn from each other, and share solutions – that is when the magic happens.”

Like any community, PARIS becomes stronger as it grows. “When new members join PARIS, they will often request some tailored changes to make the system suitable for their needs”, says Jan. “This benefits everyone, because if it’s appropriate we will make the new functionality available for every user.”
